My feet are sore ..

I don't think my feet have ever been this sore.

I've just started another job, waitressing at a Chinese restaurant in my town. This is just for some extra cash on the side, I don't think I could leave Taco Bill just yet. I can't believe how casual they are at Majestic (the Chinese place). There are many differences that I could state but I will bite my tongue this time and be thankful for the good training Taco Bill has given me for future employment.

I feel like I've had a very busy week but thinking back, I didn't do a lot.

On Thursday, Lucy and I drove into Brunswick st for some Christmas shopping, but I left with more items for myself than I did for others (who can resist a "faulty" bin when you can fix the items yourself in a heartbeat?!) I'm very happy that I finally worked out a great present for my work KK this year, Tess. I have known Tess for quite a while now as our Mum's work/ed together at the hospital but we didn't really get close until late last year/early this year. I had her last year for KK and got her a fantastic red elephant tea pot and I think she's loved me ever since! (but not in a lesbian way, right .. haha).

This weekend will be fun, Lee's band has a gig at the Summer Festival which he is very excited for but I'm not sure how summery said festival will end up being, it has poured down allllll day. Another thing that I am (sadly) looking forward to is going to the pub with Lucy tomorrow night. I always have a great time with her, wherever we are, so maybe I'm not looking forward to where I'm going but whom I'm going with. That sounds better on my behalf anyway!

The photo at the start is one a teacher from TAFE found as .. well inspiration I suppose, when we were working on paper techniques. I'm going to pop my over-tired self into bed now, goodnight! And enjoy your weekend :)

My weekend

Thursday night was such a bore! Lucy and I drove to the City to go to Next for our best friend, Bianca's, birthday. It was great to see Bianca, but I don't think I'll bother going there ever again.

On saturday, Abby's brother Justin kindly let us (Abby, Erin and I) stay at his house in Yarraville once we got home that night from Brunswick. I had such a good time with the girls, as I hadn't seen them in so long. I baked some cup cakes for Justin during the day, as a little thank-you. I only used paint to make a collage of my skills so sorry for the poor quality!

Today Mum and I went to Watergardens for some Christmas shopping. I'm starting to worry about presents for friends as Christmas creeps closer as I have 0 ideas for anyone! I have plenty of ideas for myself though ..

ps TO DEAR BIANCA, I feel bad for calling your birthday outing boring! It wasn't boring just .. wasn't where I love going.

Very first post

I thought seeing as I went to the trouble of creating an account I may aswell post something.. If only I had something interesting to write!

My main reason for creating a blog with this site was so that I was able to make comments on my Mum's blog (as she has been nagging me to for weeks now!), but after looking at her blog and following links to other people's blogs I've become quite interested in what there is in the blogging world .. The word blog is the most stupid word!
